NORTH BELLMORE -

Four schools on Long Island are fiscally stressed, according to the state.

The State Comptroller's Office evaluated more than 674 school districts statewide and designated 26 as fiscally stressed. That's down from 59 districts last year.

The state says the Eastport-South Manor Central School District is under moderate fiscal stress.

It says Wyandanch Union Free School District in Suffolk, North Bellmore Union Free School District and Long Beach City School District in Nassau are susceptible to fiscal stress.
