A former Smithtown business owner will be attending President Donald Trump's 2018 State of the Union address.
Congressman Lee Zeldin extended the invite to Donato Panico.
Panico owned and operated Panico's Community Market for nearly 40 years, before it closed earlier this month.
Panico now spends his time running a non-profit that provides meals to first responders.
News 12 Long Island will be carrying the State of the Union next Tuesday at 9 p.m.
