When it comes to Latin dance music, it's all about feeling the rhythm and moving to the beat.

At Nieves Latin Dance Studio, people from all over use their rhythm to learn to dance to salsa and bachata music one step at a time.

Many say it's that style of music that connects them to their culture and what originally brought them to the studio to learn to dance.

Classes are led by Will Nieves, who also owns the studio.

At his studio, he teaches kids, beginners and people who can already dance but just want to improve.

"We felt this area in the Bronx didn't have a Latin dance school, and it was something missing, so we wanted to open up and do something for the area," says Nieves.

Nieves Latin Dance Studio is located in the Morrisania section of the Bronx, and classes are held throughout the week.
