A good deed by two NYPD officers is going viral on Facebook.
The officers from the 75th Precinct, whose names have not been released, were on patrol Saturday when they spotted a man sitting in a wheelchair on the sidewalk.
They stopped their patrol car to check on him and found that he was an 85-year-old Korean War veteran. A taxi driver had dropped him off at his apartment, but was unable to help him get up the stairs.
The officers lifted the man up into his home and spent time with him inside, thanking the veteran for his service.
