Police: Drunken driver crashed into officer's cruiser

Police say an officer was injured when his patrol car was hit by an alleged drunken driver in Mount Sinai.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday on Route 25A near Mount Sinai Avenue.
Police say the officer was conducting a traffic stop when Elvia Turcios, of Port Jefferson, slammed into his cruiser.
News 12 is told she then hit a Jeep, and flipped her car.
Both the officer and Turcios were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
