A traffic stop for speeding on the Southern State Parkway yielded cocaine, cash and several out-of-state license plates, according to State Parks Police.
Authorities say Steven Picard, 36, was going 93 mph in a 55 mph zone near Exit 29 early Wednesday morning.
Major Anthony Astacio says the officer on the scene asked Picard for identification.
"The operator produced what we now know to be false identification, further investigation revealed his proper correct name and date of birth."
Picard was then arrested for a suspended license. After police impounded his Porsche, they say they found 8 ounces of cocaine in the truck, $1,200 in cash, blank checks, a printer and the various license plates.
According to state and federal records, Picard was convicted of a robbery back in 2000 and then served time in federal prison for trying to bribe an NYPD sergeant in 2006.
According to federal prosecutors, Picard was an aspiring rapper by the name of "Trigga" and wanted the city sergeant to drop the case against a friend who was funding Picard's music career.
He is expected to be arraigned Thursday on felony drug charges.
