Snowstorm expected to impact travel Tuesday, Wednesday

A snowstorm expected to pass through New Jersey Tuesday evening may cause traveling issues around the state.
New Jersey could see up to 5 inches of snow in parts of the state Tuesday night into Wednesday. The snow is expected to cause slippery conditions on roadways and could disrupt flights out of area airports.
United Airlines has already started to issue waivers for customers traveling to, from or through 11 airports that may be affected by the storm, including Newark Liberty International.
A blizzard that struck the Garden State earlier this month was responsible for the cancellations of over 1,000 flights. The storm dropped over a foot of snow on parts of the state.
Drivers are being urged to use caution on the state’s roadways, and air travelers are being told to check with their carrier prior to their flights.
