Another round of winter weather has millions of people in the U.S. bracing for snow, sleet and freezing temperatures after a brief warm-up that brought mild, spring-like temps to some spots.
Temperatures in the Northeast were expected to plummet throughout the day Saturday as a cold front continued to move east.
Temperatures dropped dramatically by 40 or 50 degrees in some places.
Southern states are also dealing with snow, ice, and freezing rain as far south as Louisiana. A weather-related accident in Tennessee caused a massive car pile-up.
Millions were under a flood watch in the Northeast through Saturday, as officials warned ice jams could cause river flooding.
Frigid temperatures are expected to stick around through the beginning of next week.
