WANTAGH -

A Wantagh waitress was in disbelief after receiving the ultimate holiday gift from a customer: he left a $1,000 tip on his $500 tab.

Danielle Gray, who works at Hemmingway's, says, "I saw the one and the three zeros, and I was like, 'No way, this can't be real.'"

The waitress was planning on using the extra cash to buy gifts for her 2-year-old daughter.
