East Rockaway man accused of attempted murder in Hewlett

EAST ROCKAWAY -

An East Rockaway man has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly attacking a woman during a domestic dispute.

Police say Anthony Moscati got into a heated argument with the 39-year-old victim around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in Hewlett.

News 12 was told that the 35-year-old held a switchblade knife to her neck, then pushed her into a wall.

Police say the woman also suffered multiple cuts to her fingers.

Moscati was taken to the hospital for a psychological evaluation.
