Weather: Snowfall to taper off later tonight

WOODBURY -

A winter weather advisory is in effect for all of Long Island through late tonight.

News 12 meteorologists say 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to be accumulated before it tapers off around 9 p.m. and midnight. 

Low temperatures are expected to be in the low-20s. 

Saturday will be clear and cold with low temperatures also in the 20s.
