A man accused of killing a person in a Baldwin home invasion has received a mixed verdict.
Owen Ellis was acquitted of murder charges, but was convicted of robbery and burglary at the same home days earlier.
Ellis was arrested for the 2010 shooting death of Donald Thomas.
Prosecutors say Ellis was one of three masked men who barged into a home on Washington Place and killed Thomas who was visiting a friend at the time.
