Drivers urged to watch for icy conditions Sunday

With wet roads and cold temperatures, motorists are urged to drive carefully Sunday.

Signs on the Long Island Expressway told drivers to move slowly, especially on ramps and secondary roads.

Overnight, icy roads caused an incident in Brentwood where a driver slid on Wicks Road, hitting some parked cars.

Long Island's first snow of the season saw a slushy mix dump a few inches on the ground Saturday.
