Police: Pedestrian fatally struck in North Babylon

NORTH BABYLON -

Police say a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in North Babylon Friday evening.

Officials say an unidentified 65-year-old was hit while trying to cross Route 231 at Hunter Avenue just before 6 p.m. Friday night.

News 12 is told the driver stayed at the scene.

No charged have been filed.
