ROOSEVELT -

Police are searching for two people who robbed a deliveryman in Roosevelt.

Officials say a Chinese restaurant employee was robbed around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday as he tried to deliver food to a home on Smith Street.

They say the thief demanded money and his phone.

When the 28-year-old employee refused, police say a second man hit him in the head with a gun before taking off with his phone, money and the Chinese food.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
