Search underway for suspect in PA police officer's slaying

An intense manhunt is underway in western Pennsylvania after a police officer there was shot and killed during a traffic stop.
It happened around 8 p.m. Friday in New Kensington, about 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
Authorities say Officer Brian Shaw was fatally shot following a traffic stop that led to a foot pursuit.
Police departments from surrounding towns have joined in the search for the suspect, and SWAT teams and police dogs were taking part in the search.
Investigators have recovered a brown, older model Jeep Grand Cherokee in connection with the shooting.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
