Efforts halted to herd wayward whale out of Reynolds Channel

Efforts to herd a humpback whale out of Reynolds Channel earlier today have been halted.

The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society says it surveyed the area for hours, but was unable to locate the whale that had been reported in the area.

They say they have unconfirmed reports of the teenage humpback being spotted just outside of Reynolds Channel -- and they will continue to monitor the area in case it returns.
