Union, Baumann bus officials to continue contract talks Tuesday

Posted: Updated:
WOODBURY -

The union representing hundreds of striking school bus drivers, aids and mechanics will once again meet with Baumann Bus Company officials and a federal mediator on Tuesday.

As News 12 has reported, nearly 20,000 students in four Nassau County school districts are being impacted by the strike.

Workers hit the picket line last Monday after months of failed contract talks.

Baumann and TWU Local 252 leaders met with a federal mediator on Friday, but did not reach an agreement.
