Two unauthorized vehicles needed to be removed from Long Island Rail Road tracks Tuesday, making a mess of the evening commute.
A vehicle was struck by a train west of the Wyandanch station. Another unauthorized vehicle was on the tracks near Mineola.
The railroad suspended the Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma branches for a time.
