Police: Barbershop murder suspect is person of interest in 2009 slaying

Police believe the individual arrested in connection with last month’s fatal shooting of a Bridgeport barber may have ties to another killing from 2009.
As News 12 has reported, Mark Christian, 32, was apprehended by members of Bridgeport's Patrol Division Monday night after a domestic dispute. He was later charged in the Oct. 14 fatal shooting of Deon Rodney, a barber at the Just Right Cutz Barber Shop at 500 Park Ave.
Rondell Miley tells News 12 Connecticut that he believes Christian is also responsible for his brother's death. Miley says he has been pursuing the connection between Christian and the fatal shooting of his brother Ronald in Marina Village for the past several years.
Police have confirmed that Christian is a person of interest in the killing of Ronald Miley.
Christian remains behind bars on a $3.2 million bond. He is due back in court later this month.
