Cheddar Afternoon Update 11/2: Disney lays ground rules for Star Wars showings
Disney is laying down the law when it comes to its upcoming Star Wars film.
Movie theaters must agree to top secret terms before they are allowed to show ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ according to the Wall Street Journal.
The film must air in the theater’s largest auditorium for the first four weeks and Disney gets 65 percent of ticket revenue.
Meanwhile, Fiat Chrysler is showing off its highly anticipated redesigned Jeep Wrangler. There are subtle design touches and more open-air options, like removable doors and roof panels.
Lastly, gender inequality is getting worse. The World Economic Forum says a lot of progress women have made when it comes to equal pay, women in elected office and other areas is starting to erode. The U.S. fell four spots, it is now 49 out of 144 counties.
