Tekulsky, 65, of East Hampton, is running on the Democratic, Republican, Conservative, Working Families and Independence party lines. He has been an East Hampton Town justice since January 2014. Since 1989, Tekulsky has also operated his own general law practice in East Hampton. He was an attorney for Gordon & Silber P.C. from 1981-1988. He previously served as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan from 1977 to 1981. Tekulsky has been a member of the East Hampton Fire Department for approximately 30 years and was chief from 2001 to 2003. He received his undergraduate degree from Elmira College and his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1978 and belongs to the Suffolk County Bar Association.
