Officials investigate possible wrong-way crash on LIE

LONG ISLAND -

Police are investigating an alleged wrong-way crash on the Long Island Expressway.

The incident happened just after 5 a.m. this morning near Exit 51.

News 12 is told the driver was heading westbound in the eastbound lanes.

Investigators say there were no serious injuries but the crash created several road closures.

There is no word if any arrested were made.
