Hollywood movie magic is happening on Long Island.

A boat explosion took place yesterday in Hempstead Harbor at Henry Tappen Marina in Glenwood Landing as part of a stunt.

The stunt is for a scene in the upcoming Martin Scorsese mob film ‘The Irishman.’

The movie stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano and Joe Pesci.

Newsday says the movie has also filmed scenes in Huntington Station, Lawrence, and Baldwin.
