Police: 1 shot after armed suspects storm N. Valley Stream home

NORTH VALLEY STREAM -

Police are searching for the suspects who stormed into a North Valley Stream home with guns.

According to police, the suspects armed with handguns forcefully entered the side door of a residence on S Street and confronted three males on the second floor around 2 a.m.

The suspects demanded personal property from the victims, and police say a struggle ensued resulting in a 61-year-old male being shot.

The suspects fled the scene with assorted jewelry in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
