Cheddar Morning Business Update 10/9: Amazon eyes prescription drug business

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Amazon could be getting into the prescription drug business.
The company is reportedly close to deciding whether it will sell prescription drugs on its site.

The move would dramatically shake up the multi-billion dollar prescription drug market and potentially bring prices down and reduce out of pocket costs for customers.

Meanwhile, Tesla isn't the only tech company trying to help out in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. The FCC gave Google's Alphabet permission to fly 30 massive balloons over the island, as a way to bring emergency cellphone service. More than 90 percent of the island is still without service.

Lastly, Dove apologized for racially insensitive ad for its body wash that was on their Facebook page. The ad has already been deleted.

The ad shows a black woman turning into a smiling white woman. Dove says it "missed the mark in thoughtfully representing women of color."
