Police: Teen shot during Medford home burglary

<p>Police say they received a 911 call around midnight for a possible burglary.</p>

Police are investigating a burglary at a Medford home on Tuesday night.
According to police, two masked men, one armed with a handgun, entered a home on Eagle Avenue around midnight.
Police say an occupant of the residence struggled with the intruders and sustained a gunshot wound to his hand. There were two other occupants on the second floor of the residence when the incident occurred who were not injured.
Police say the two suspects fled empty-handed.
The gunshot victim, an 18-year-old male, was transported the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
 The motive for the shooting is unclear, however, the friends that were inside at the time of the incident tell News 12 the suspects were shouting 'give me the money.'
