Police: Man drove drunk, hit woman leaving Babylon church

A Babylon man is accused of driving drunk and hitting a woman who was leaving Mass on Saturday night.

The incident happened in front of St. Joseph Church on North Carll Avenue.

Police say 27-year-old Anthony Parrinello first struck a parked car, injuring several people.

Then Parrinello allegedly struck 76-year-old Nancy Ruff. She is said to have suffered serious injuries.

Police say Parrinello was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
