A historic hardware store which has been around more than 100 years will be closing next week in Lake Ronkonkoma.
Agnew and Taylor Hardware first opened its doors in 1898.
Sandy and Paul Weber have owned the store for 34 years and say customers have been very supportive.
"Unfortunately, time takes its toll and physically, I wasn't able to do it anymore and my wife and I have decided to spend more time with the family," says Paul Weber.
Agnew and Taylor will be selling everything in the store up to 50 percent off until next Wednesday. The building has been sold and can't be taken down because it is a historic landmark. It is unclear what type of business will replace it.
