Children with disabilities had the chance to play baseball in Eisenhower Park Saturday.
The event was made possible by the League of YES, which helps create baseball programs for children of all ages with disabilities.
"Our purpose here is to make sure that it's an even playing field for everyone,” said Jill Christensen, of League of YES. “We feel like everyone deserves to be able to play baseball."
Students from St. John's University helped pitch to the kids and made sure that they had a safe and a fun day.
