UNIONDALE -

A Roosevelt man is accused of leading officers on a wild chase through Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Investigators say when they approached Joel Legette's minivan on Front Street in Uniondale Saturday, he took off.

News 12 is told he slammed into a fence in East Meadow, but kept driving through Levittown, Bethpage, Farmingdale, Wyandanch and Deer Park.

Officers say he resisted arrest in Brentwood and allegedly punched officers while at the First Precinct.

Three officers were treated for injuries.
