Police: Man found burned in Glen Cove woods

Police are investigating after a man was found burned in the woods in Glen Cove.

Police responded to a 911 call for an aided case at the west end of the Glen Street Station on Tuesday around 6 p.m.

Police say officers located a male in a wooded area in the vicinity of the station parking lot.

The male suffered burns to his legs and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have not determined if the incident is criminal.
