Police say a suspect is on the loose after reported gunfire Saturday night in Kingsbridge.

Police say a 40-year-old man was shot in the back and in the shoulder after getting into an argument with the suspect. It is unclear what the argument was about.

The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. on Webb Avenue near the corner of Kingsbridge Road.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and was treated for his gunshot wounds. He is in stable condition.

Police say the focus of the investigation is finding the shooting, who they believe is a teenage male.
