LIRR returns to normal schedule after summer work

The summer-long repair work at Penn Station is done, and the Long Island Rail Road has returned to normal service.
The service resumes for the first time since Amtrak's repairs took several tracks out of commission since July.
The summer was dubbed "The Summer of Hell,” but riders tell News 12 they really didn't have any issues.
The new LIRR timetable has been released, and the alternate ferry and bus service program has ended.
