Bellport father accused of driving drunk with child in car

A Bellport father is accused of driving drunk with his 8-year-old son in the car in Bellport.
Police say Melquisedes Nunez Suazo was driving his truck westbound on Montauk Highway just west of Lambert Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
He was arrested Sunday after police say he slammed into the back of a car stopped at a traffic light on Montauk Highway. That vehicle then hit two other cars.
Suazo suffered minor injuries, but no one else was injured.
The Bellport father has been charged with felony DWI charges under Leandra's Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
