Power restored at Stony Brook Univ. after campus-wide outage

The power has been restored after a campus-wide outage at Stony Brook University.
Stony Brook University students have been back in class for a week. School officials say about 12:15 a.m., the entire campus went dark for about two hours.
According to officials, the suspected cause of the power outage was a steam leak in the administration building, which caused an electrical interruption.
Presently, only the administration building remains without power.
Officials say Stony Brook University Hospital operated on backup generator power for approximately an hour when power was restored. No injuries were reported.
According to school officials, there were people stuck in elevators for prolonged periods of time, several people were stuck in elevators temporarily, but all were quickly removed and were not in distress.
