Officials: Meth disguised as candle wax seized before distribution

Officials say they discovered methamphetamine disguised as candle wax before it hit the streets.

According to the feds, the five people from California and Mexico had shipped the drug to Long Island.

The DEA says 1,300 pounds of methamphetamine were sent to an undisclosed location in the area.

Authorities stepped in to make the arrests in New Jersey on Wednesday before the drugs could be distributed all over the tri-state region.
