Princess Diana remembered on 20th anniversary of her death

It's been 20 years since the death of Princess Diana.
People around the world are remembering the princess, who died in a car crash on this day in 1997. It was in the early hours of Aug. 31, 1997 that paparazzi started chasing Diana's Mercedes. The speeding vehicle slammed into a pillar in a tunnel in Paris, killing Diana, her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and their driver.
Diana's sons Prince William and Prince Harry today visited a garden that their mother loved at Kensington Palace. Londoners placed flowers, photos and messages at the gates of the Palace in her memory.
The mayor of Paris laid a wreath at the entrance to the tunnel where Diana was killed. Public mourners also left dozens of flowers in a growing memorial.
