State police say a man was killed in a crash on the Southern State Parkway early Sunday morning.

It happened in the eastbound lanes near Exit 20 shortly after 2 a.m.

State police say a motorcycle operated by 26-year-old Elliot Estrada Jr., of Ronkonkoma, crashed into the back of a 2012 Hyundai Elantra.

Estrada was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the roadway, where he was then struck by a taxi, according to police.

Estrada was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the taxi and the Hyundai both remained at the scene and were not injured, according to police.

State police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have information on the investigation to call 631-756-3300.
