Man shot in the face in Uniondale

A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the face in Uniondale early Sunday morning.

Authorities say it happened around 2:30 a.m. outside the Classico Bar on Jerusalem Avenue.

The 23-year-old victim also suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. He was  hospitalized in stable condition. His identity hasn't been released.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
