EAST MEADOW -

Stew Leonard's has opened its second Long Island location.

The grocery store chain officially opened in East Meadow this morning in the old Pathmark on Front Street.

The first Long Island Stew Leonard's opened in Farmingdale a year and a half ago.

The owner tells Newsday that the Farmingdale store has sold 20 times more apple cider doughnuts than any other Stew Leonard's.
