UNIONDALE -

Police are searching for a man who allegedly took pictures up a woman’s skirt at a bus stop in Uniondale.

Police released pictures of the suspect who they say sexually attacked a 24-year-old woman as she waited at the bus stop in July.

Police say the incident happened on July 19 around 7:30 a.m. According to police, a Hispanic man who appears to be around 25 years old was first seen trying to take cellphone pictures up the woman’s skirt. Then the man allegedly grabbed the woman from behind, lifted up her dress, and touched her inappropriately, officials say.

Police also released a picture of a white four-door Honda Accord they say the man was seen driving away from the bus stop in.

Bus riders who take the N43 bus on Uniondale Avenue say they are on high alert.
