Suspect sought in Cedarhurst armed bank robbery

CEDARHURST -

Police are searching for the armed man who held up a Cedarhurst bank.

The incident happened at around 8:15 a.m. Monday at the TD Bank on East Central Avenue.

Police say a gunman, who was between 20 and 30 years old, demanded money.

The suspect got an unknown amount of cash and then took off in a dark colored car.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
