Nassau lawmakers set to vote on cost-sharing plan

Nassau County lawmakers are set to vote Monday on cost-sharing plans that aim to save county taxpayers millions of dollars.

The 127-page plan would pull the county, local governments and school districts together to share services and equipment.

Governments that successfully reduce costs will receive one-time matching funds from the state.
