Police: Vehicles vandalized, hate messages found in Hicksville

Several vehicles were vandalized and spray-painted with hateful messages in Hicksville over the weekend, police say. 
The mirrors were broken on a white van and a Ford Explorer on Benjamin Avenue. The van was spray-painted with a swastika and racial slurs. 
Police say the incident occurred between Saturday night and Sunday morning. 
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
