Groom arrested for setting off fireworks at backyard wedding reception

An East Massapequa man was arrested early Saturday morning for setting off professional-grade fireworks during his backyard wedding reception, police say.
Detectives say police headed to the Riverdale Avenue backyard of Thomas Giglio after getting noise complaints from neighbors.
Some neighbors say Giglio kept them awake earlier in the week from fireworks. They also say they were upset with the remnants of Saturday's display.
Neighbors in the Pirates Cove area say that after the fireworks went off, their deck and boats were covered in debris.
