Suspect sought in knifepoint robbery at Garden City Park pharmacy

GARDEN CITY PARK -

Police have released pictures of a man they say held up a pharmacy at knifepoint in Garden City Park.

According to police, the suspect was caught on surveillance video as he walked into Twin Parks Pharmacy on Jericho Turnpike Wednesday morning.

Police say one the suspect got to the counter, he demanded OxyContin and threatened the pharmacist with a knife.

The suspect took off with the pain pills. No one was hurt in the incident.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
