A class-action lawsuit filed against Camden-based TD Bank could shell out $7.5 million to customers in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
The suit involved the bank’s coin-counting Penny Arcades, which were found to have short-changed customers who used them.
Authorities say that signs of neglect were found at 18 machines in the tristate area. Those machines were pulled from service at the TD Bank Branches.
More than 1,200 machines were taken out of service.
A federal judge is reviewing the preliminary settlement.
