WESTBURY -

Police are searching for a man accused of grabbing a young girl who was on her way to school in Westbury on Wednesday.

According to police, the fifth-grader was approached at the corner of Grand Street and Winthrop Avenue around 9:15 a.m.

Police say the 10-year-old girl was walking to the Drexel Avenue Elementary School when she was approached from behind by an unknown white male in his 30s who grabbed her arm.
