Suffolk County's finest are adding some top dogs to its force.

News 12 got an exclusive look at the newest members of the police K9 team.

The European-bred German Shepherds were born in 2015 and 2016.

The dogs will complete patrol training and go on the road for real-life experience before receiving training in specialized techniques.

One of the dogs, Brick, is named after retired 3rd Precinct Officer Tara Brick, who died from breast cancer in 2013 after she retired.
